Mint an NFT
1. Prepare Your Article
AnyCampus Blog lets you mint an NFT representing a specific, published version of your article.
Before minting, write your article and publish it by clicking “Publish now.” Once your article goes live, an NFT minting modal will open automatically.
For writing guidance, see the documentation here.
2. Choose a Network and Wallet
In the modal, you will select:
the network on which to mint
the wallet to use for the transaction
Supported networks:
Ethereum
OP Mainnet
Arbitrum
Base
Linea
Scroll
Supported wallet:
MetaMask
Coinbase
Wallet Connect
You may use a wallet address different from the one you used to log in to your AnyCampus account.
Because each NFT represents a specific version of your content:
One NFT per article per network: You may mint one NFT of the same article on each supported network.
Editing creates a new mintable version: If you edit your article after minting, the edited version is treated as new content. This allows you to mint another NFT of that updated version on the same network.
Examples:
Mint once on Ethereum + once on OP Mainnet: Possible
Mint twice on Ethereum without editing the article: Not possible
Publish an article→Mint on Ethereum→Edit article to publish updated version→Mint again on Ethereum: Possible, results in two distinct NFTs
Note: Minting is optional. You can close the modal or click “Skip minting” to continue to the blog completion page. You can always mint later from your profile or the dashboard.
3. Check Your Balance
Minting requires gas fees on the selected network. Make sure you have enough ETH (or the network’s native token); otherwise the transaction will fail.
If you need to add funds, refer to this guide for steps on buying or swapping tokens.
4. Mint the NFT
Once you've selected the network and wallet, click “Mint as NFT.”
Your wallet will open a confirmation pop-up, so click “Confirm.” This initiates the transaction, which usually completes within a few minutes.
5. Review Your Minted NFT
After a successful transaction, a confirmation page will appear showing:
The NFT image
A button to read the article
Minted network
A blockchain explorer link
Social media share links
An option to mint the article again on another network
You can also view all your minted NFTs in the NFT Gallery on your profile page. Hover over any NFT thumbnail and click “View NFT details” to see the same information.
6. Share Your NFT
Once your NFT is ready, share it with your audience. You can do this directly from the confirmation page or from the NFT Gallery by clicking Share in the NFT details view.
Let the world know your ideas are now on-chain :)
